John Patriquin has started his own heating and cooling company after
receiving his Gas Technician Certification from the Niagara Skilled
Trades Academy, where he finished at the top of his class. Previously,
John worked as the Production Maintenance Manager for Vineco International
Products, a division of Andres Wines. After leaving Vineco, John decided
to pursue his interest in the technical aspects of maintenance and
looked for something that would allow him to expand on his skills
and at the same time, fit into his plan of starting his own small
business.
Taking the courses at the Niagara Skilled Trades Academy
also gave John the time to assume a larger role of responsibility
for his family, while his wife Wendy, a St. Catharines City Councillor,
ran for Mayor in the November municipal election.
With the election over with, John is now concentrating on building
his new business, ADMIRAL HEATING AND COOLING. Through word of mouth,
John has already gained many loyal clients who are impressed with
his skill and professionalism. John is specializing in residential
and small commercial applications, where he can install, maintain
and repair all gas appliances and air conditioning units.
