Radical Author Reveals What's Wrong With Dating
At The McLove Drive-Thru
St. Catharines - Feb. 28, 2005 - In this new love-economy
we can have it all: e-dating, speed-dating, dinner-dating, mobile-dating
and even dog-lovers-dating. "Then why do most singles become road-kill
on the single's superhighway?" asks Allie Ochs, author of:
Are You Fit To Love? A radically Different Approach
To Successful Relationship.
Many online companies promise that all it takes is $ 25
to land your dream-date. The majority of singles have found that it
is not that easy. According to Nate Elliot, analyst for Jupiter Research,
the singles market is saturated. Obviously, the last thing we need is
another dating company. As singles are lining up to be served at the
McLove drive-thru, expectation and misrepresentation are at an all-time
high. Yet, there is something wrong at the all-you-can-date buffet.
"Everyone in this love-commodity market seeks their
peacock among the feather dusters." says Allie Ochs, "Yet,
there are not enough peacocks. Most people are average, good people
like everyone else. They don't come with stunning looks, eternal youth,
trim bodies or huge wallets."
In spite of the growing number, few singles actually find
love and dating companies are seldom to blame. The fault lies within
singles themselves. Equipped with advice that they can have it all,
they set out to get it all. Their wish-lists are loaded with superficial
attributes, leaving character out of the equation.
"Believing that every keystroke could lead to a better
somebody@somewhere.com, they overlook the person worthy of pursuit."
says Allie. "It is time for singles to make a point of building
relationship success based on the strength of character, instead of
clever-minded dating strategies."
With her book and her radical dating coaching, Allie helps
singles to create, portray and spot a great character. According to
Allie: "Nothing attracts love more than a great character of integrity.
Great relationships require great characters, a fact that will never
change." Until we work on our character, most online dating services
are more like virtual slot machines for relationship-hopping.
