Dr. Kathy Desjardins is opening this September in Niagara Falls the first Homeopathic Academy of Niagara.  She will offer a 3 year professional certificate program in Homeopathic medicine.  Classes will be held every other weekend from September through June at the World famous School of Horticulture building along the Niagara Parkway, in scenic Niagara Falls, Ontario.  If you are seeking a unique and exciting career while improving you own health at the same time, then look no further!

Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that uses highly diluted doses of substances to stimulate the body’s own healing system.  The use of homeopathic medicines (popularly known as remedies) is based on the discovery that a natural substance is capable of curing the same symptoms that it can cause.  Classical Homeopathy is based on the selection of a single remedy that most closely matches your symptoms and then waits to observe your response before administering another remedy.  This method focuses on the underlying cause of the symptom, rather that the symptoms themselves creating one of the most effective ways to bring your body into optimum health.

The basic principles to Homeopathic Medicine are found in the ancient writings and in the traditions of native medicines.   Homeopathy can be effective in treating virtually any health issue, from allergies to shingles; regardless if the origin is physical, mental or emotional.  The diagnosis is much less important than your unique symptoms.  By matching a remedy to your particular symptoms your homeopath is treating you, not the disease giving your body a new rhythm to live by.

Classes will be held at the School of Horticulture, next to the Butterfly Conservatory, along the scenic Niagara Parkway.  Classes will be held on weekends, 9am – 5pm from September to June.  Career wise this means that in three short years you can open your own Homeopathic clinic and be your own boss.  If you are not looking to open your own clinic and already have a full-time job this is a great opportunity for you to learn about the earth’s healing principles, while in the end, being able to know about improving your own health and that of your family’s.
