Renewed Computer Technology Ontario is a not-for-profit charitable organization that takes surplus, unwanted computers and refurbishes and recycles them into usable, valuable equipment for schools and other not-for-profit organizations. They are now using The Niagara Guide's complementary marketing service to spread their message to local business organizations.

Renewed Computer Technology Ontario (RCTO) is a local not-for-profit organization with an important mission: Extending Technology and Expanding Minds. RCTO takes surplus, unwanted computers from corporations and then refurbishes and restores them so they can be used productively by schools and other not-for-profit organizations throughout Ontario. The Niagara Guide heard of their services and offered them a complementary listing, which has gone online today.
"Non-profit organizations need all the help they can get when it comes to letting the community know what they're all about " said Mark Kawabe, Chief Guide at The Niagara Guide. Kawabe continues: "Being in information technology, I see what a wasteful society we have become with respect to technology. Computers become outdated so quickly it's hard to know what to do with them once your business has moved on to newer models. All businesses need to know about RCTO's services. I fully support their mission and am happy to help spread the word. "
Renewed Computer Technology Ontario operates four programs as part of their mission: The Computers for Schools Program, Charities are "IT" Program, Environmental Management Program and a Youth Work Transition Program. Each program is designed to help extend technology, empower others with learning technologies and provide opportunities and environmental stewardship.
