SMUDGE FUNDAES NOMINATED FOR
2008 CANADIAN INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARD!

February 6, 2008, St. Catharines - The Smudge Fundaes have been nominated for a 2008 Canadian Independent Music Award in the category Favourite Children's Group of the Year!

The 2008 Indie Awards take place, during Canadian Music Week (Canada's International Music Convention), on March 8th, 2008, at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. The Indies celebrate the best in independent music in Canada. Nominees are selected by committees of industry professionals from all areas of the music scene and winners will be decided by a combination of public and industry voting. (www.cmw.net)

The Smudge Fundaes are leading North American children's musical entertainers, based in Canada, that "have an amazing ability to engage the audience (both children and parents) and keep them enthused.they are among the elite of children's entertainers", says Terri Lang of the Brampton Fair.
