The
Niagara Business Guide is happy to accept all press releases from Niagara-based
companies. They just have to conform to the guidelines below. If your
release doesn't conform, it doesn't get added to our site.
Press Releases
must submitted through the online form below. This is a free service
provided as a service to the Niagara, business community in Canada. Releases
that are directly e-mailed to us and non-Canadian releases will not be accepted.
Only press
releases from companies with offices in Niagara will be included.
The address provided MUST be that of the Niagara office, or the release will not be accepted. The press release will ideally originate from the Niagara office
of companies that are provincial or national in scope.
Archived press
releases will be maintained for at least a six month period after
which old releases may be deleted at the discretion of The Niagara
Guide.
Releases may
be edited for spelling and may be re-formatted for web use by staff
of The Niagara Guide. The responsibility for the accuracy
of the release is the responsibility of the submitter. The Niagara
Guide assumes no responsibility for false or erroneous
releases.
We expect you to submit a proper press release. Not just a couple of sentences. If you can't write a press release, check out the resources below before taking your time to submit a release to us. If it's not a proper release, there's a very good chance we won't put it online. Yeah. We're picky.
One
of the major reasons press releases don't get put online is because
they are often written as an advertisement. If you're trying to advertise
something, then it's an ad and not a press release. Here are a few links
to sites that offer tips on how to write a good press release.
